PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – At the age of 71, Alan Abrahamson began taking morning walks. He said the goal is to shed weight following a last cruise.

In the early morning of January 25, he walked out of his $900,000 residence in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to go for a walk . He was filmed on a camera in the private country club around 5:53 AM. The camera was recorded at 6:06. The noise the sound a shot. Abrahamson died.

The suspects claimed it was a murder however, there was no evidence of a fighting and no weapons, nor shells. The Palm Beach Post reports that there was just one unique clue on the scene: a extremely thin streak of blood that was visible across a puncture in the heart of the victim to his shoulder.

When the police investigated Abrahamson’s account, they discovered another thing: he purchased two weather balloons although none of the people they talked to thought the balloons were more interested in the weather balloons or aerial photographs.

His web history revealed additional details: he emailed the sales person four times to inquire about issues such as takeoff altitudes; Google Maps story showed that on January 23, he was in an industrial shop, where the police found out that he’d purchased a 40 cubic-foot Helium tank. Internet searches for suicides were from 2009.

The Washington Post reports that one of the search queries in February 2017 read “Can you commit suicide with a gunshot wound without a weapon?”

The police described the incident as “contrived” but “plausible” was realized: Abrahamson connected a gun with a balloon, pulled a cord from his trigger up to a finger and then shot himself and the balloon took the weapon and rope, leaving a bloody line on his sweatshirt.

Utilizing a simulation, the team discovered that the balloon was capable of carrying a cannon from the north of Bahamas and across the Atlantic. In early March, they were able to close the case, and ruled a suicide.
