Brevard COUNTY (Fla.) – A Florida man who uploaded thousands of images that contained child pornography and child erotica claimed that he saw the graphic content as a boredom killer, even though it was wrong. According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office,

After receiving a tip by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, MPs launched an investigation to find out more about Merritt Island.

Further information regarding the same user was received in April and June. This led to an order being created and executed for Microsoft OneDrive. It contained 7,548 images. 119 were child pornography, while the rest were erotica and show plates.

On November 20, 2019, a search warrant was issued for the apartment building at Merritt Island that is linked to this account.

Shane Williams said he lived in a house with a relative, but first-time access denied any child pornography or having a OneDrive account, according to warrant gratification, the records show. He was aware that the children featured in the photos were victims, and he said that he hated looking at the violence.

MPs claimed that additional searches were made on Williams’ electronic devices. They also discovered more than 524 child pornography photos, some of which showed victims as young as one year old.

Williams was taken into custody Tuesday on charges of child pornography.
